Trending in AI vs Games this week
Runs and records with the most real, published activity in the last 7 days. Every reason links to its source and carries a verification label.
Only 2 items had qualifying activity in the last 7 days. We don't pad this list.
How trending works
- Only things that happened in the last 7 days. A result we review and list today but that happened earlier goes in “Newly added to the board” with its own date, never in the ranking.
- Only real changes count. Signals come from our public change log (data/changes.json): records published after review, milestone and progress changes on tracked runs and leaderboards, and a run's live status as last fetched from its source. We have no view counts, clicks, votes or other popularity signals, and we never create activity to fill the list.
- Weights. New result listed after review: 5 · new #1 on a leaderboard: 4 · milestone change (for example badges): 3 · other value change: 2 · run back to live: 2 · live at the last check: 1.5 (only counts alongside a real change) · new leaderboard entry: 1. “New result” means the result itself happened in the window. Turn counters and location pings are left out.
- Recency. A signal's weight halves every 2 days and drops to zero after 7 days. At most 5 signals count per entry, so one busy source cannot crowd out the rest.
- Verification. Only verified and creator-reported items can trend. Items awaiting verification never trend. Each entry shows its label.
- One game at a time. Each entry is a single run, leaderboard or record in a single game. We never add scores across games, and suite benchmarks that mix several games into one score are left out. The ranking score itself is not shown, because it measures activity, not quality.
- Fewer is fine. If fewer than 3 items qualify, we show fewer and say so.
